WHY WE STARTED
Cheryl Armour-Frye and the Frye family opened The Origin in June 2010. Our mission is to support hip hop’s cultural, social, creative, and educational values.
Through classes, crews, camps, and school programs, we connect youth, teens, and adults with movement, expression, and a shared respect for the culture.
Today, our community spans Carlsbad, La Mesa, and Lake Elsinore.
THE FAMILY BEHIND THE ORIGIN
